Other opportunities for Christian Ministry in the diocese:

A Eucharistic Assistant: helps with the distribution of Holy Communion during the celebration of the Eucharist, also known as the Lord's Supper.

A Pastoral Eucharistic Assistant: takes the sacrament of Holy Communion to those who are ill at home or elswhere, e.g. you might be asked to lead a service for people in a home for the elderly.

A Pastoral Assistant; assists the ministry in the parishes in many ways - visiting, listening, organising events for different groups, offering practical help in various ways.

What is it?

Exploring Faith is a course of Christian Education aimed at helping us grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of the Christian faith and explore deeply what the Christian heritage means for them and the way they live their life and serve God.

Because we are called to love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our mind and with all our soul and with all our strength. Read more
