Our parish is centred upon Corwen, a small rural town (population approx 2800 ) situated on the banks of the river Dee and in the shadow of of the Berwyn mountain. The 12th Century Church, the largest in the Deanery and dedicated to two 6th Century saints, Mael and Sulien, serves the spiritual needs of Corwen and its surrounding farms and small hamlets. We are a small, welcoming bi-lingual parish.

Shotton
Shotton is situated in the North-East of Wales, along side the banks of the River Dee. This is a relatively new Parish, which was formed from the old Parish of Hawarden in 1911. The town itself is an industrial town whose population didn't really take off until the docks, and then Steel Works arrived nearby. Nowadays the steel industry is struggling with job cuts, although across the River Dee is the largest industrial estate in Europe.
