Farewell service to Rector and his family Jan 2009
The Rector, Rev. John Harvey left the Parish on Jan 6th 2009 to take up his post as Vicar of Meliden near Prestatyn along with a new post of Diocesan Vocations Officer. A service to celebrate John's six years of ministry with Llangystennin Parish was held on 4th January with a buffet lunch afterwards. John and his wife Sally and children were thanked for all their contributions to the life of the churches and John thanked for his gifts he has used in his ministry here.Thanks to all who arranged and contributed to the excellent buffet.
Over twenty church members attended John's induction in his new Parish on Thurs January 15th at Meliden. Our thoughts and prayers will be with John, Sally and children as they settle into their new home and Parish in the coming months.
