Sharing food at Family & Friends
Family & friends, on the 4th Sunday of each month at 4 pm, involves crafts and painting, games and activities, a simple act of worship, and food to share together. There's a theme each time, and it's fun for everyone.
During the autumn our themes have been Harvest in Tanzania, Mary Evans' Bible and (for Advent) Light and Dark. Family & Friends on Sunday 27th February will be focusing on journeys and special places, and getting ready for our celebrations on 27th March, our patronal festival Sunday by making banners and garlands for a procession around the church. There won't be a Family & Friends meeting on 27th March, but we hope everyone will be able to take part in the service at 11 am.
Family & Friends will then resume after Easter on Sunday 22nd May, when our theme will be 'Looking after our world' - but we'll be meeting in church to make our Easter Garden on Good Friday, 22nd April, at 3.15 pm.
