On Easter Sunday the church celebrates the fact that Jesus rose from the dead 3 days after His crucifixion. We share the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist - the sharing of bread and wine in memory of the last meal Jesus had with His followers before His arrest and crucifixion adn in celebration of His continuing presence with us through the Holy Spirit.
