Liverpool Cathedrals from St Mary's Halkyn 10/6/11 (HNB)
On Saturday 4th June, 2011 a quiz was run for the three parishes by Mr Artur Kemp in Rhosesmor Village Hall. About 27 people were able to attend, despite it being half term and a great time was had by all.
The funeral was held on Monday 6th June of Mrs Olwena Woods (late of Mynydd Isa) at St Paul's, Rhosesmor and she was laid to rest in the churchyard.
Also at St Pauls Rhosesmor, the funeral was held of Mrs Kath Davies on Friday, 10th June, 2011. She was laid to rest in the north-west part of the cemetry beneath one of the beech trees and close to her family.
Halkyn Church will be open each Saturday morning throughout the year from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
