Churches

Llangelynnin
Mountain Church with walled Churchyard. Occasional services are conducted during the summer months.
Llanrhychwyn
Located in the hills above the Conwy Valley there has apparently been a chuch on this site since the 6th Century. The current building can be dated to the 11th Century.
St Mary Caerhun
Beautifully situated on the site of the Roman Fort of Canovium, overlooking the River Conwy.
St. Mary's Dolgarrog
The church dates from the 1970s and replaces another church that replaced the one destroyed by the Dolgarrog Dam Disaster of 1925.
St. Mary's, Trefriw
Trefriw church was founded in 1230 by Llywelyn Fawr and his wife, Joan. Llywelyn Fawr and Joan (known in Wales as Siwan) are portrayed in a stained glass window in the church. Regrettably little of the original church remains due to heavy reconstruction in the 15th 16th and 19th centuries.
St. Peter's, Llanbedr y Cennin
A beautiful church with a tradition of centuries of worship.
