“The parish/benefice acknowledges and agrees the following in relation to its website (the “Website”):

 

  • it is solely responsible for all content uploaded to the Website;
  • only documents relating to the parish/benefice and of a maximum size of 2mb may be uploaded to the Website;
  • it is responsible for obtaining all copyright permissions required from third parties in respect of all content uploaded to the Website;
  • the Website may only be amended/updated by the cleric in charge of the parish/benefice or a representative acting with their permission;
  • the Website may only be amended or updated by the use of a secure user password (which you have specified), such password to be kept confidential and secure and discloseable only to the nominated representative(s) for the purpose of amending or updating the Website;
  • it shall not display on the Website any content/material which is illegal, blasphemous, explicit, offensive or is otherwise deemed objectionable by the Representative Body of the Church in Wales;
  • the Representative Body of the Church in Wales has the right to remove the Website from its server at any time for any reason without any recourse from the parish/benefice;
  • the Representative Body of the Church in Wales makes no representations or warranties to the parish/benefice regarding the functionality or accessibility of the Website;
  • the Representative Body of the Church in Wales does not guarantee the provision of any maintenance or support services to the parish/benefice for the Website; and
  • it will not use the Website for any form of commercial advertising.
